The Town Board, Monday night fixed the tax levies for the ensuing year at the following amounts on the SIOO valuation. Special school, 30 fipnio; last year. 4flLcenla.__ Tuition 25 eents; last year 30 cents. Corporation fund 45 cents; last year 50 cents. Road fund 15 cents; last year 20 cents. Sinking fund 15 cents; last year 20 cents. Total $1.30; total last ye*r SI.OO. Poll tax 50 cents; Dog tax $1 and $2. The night-watch was relieved from duty, but the Board offers to contribute S2O per month for continuing his services, if merchants and others will raise the balance. It was decided to build a stone culvert over Make-him-self ditch, on Weston street, the advertisement for bids appearing elsewhere in this paper.
