CORRESPONDENCE.
From Wlieatfied. The Lutheran Church of this place was packed to its utmost capacity Sunday at 3 o’clock to hear Rev. Shreeve reply to a discourse delivered the Sunday previous by Elder Shortridge. The C. & I. C. R. R. and I. E I. R. R. are doing a good business in the fright line. A man whose name we did not learn was killed on the L. N. A. & C. R. R. Tuesday night There will be a Sunday School organized at the Lutheran Church next Sunday. Preaching at the Lutheran Church Sunday Sept. 27th. at 10 o’clock, By Rev, L. R. Slireeve “all inyited” subject,” “A complete Salvation.” Conductor Thomas fell from the platform of a flat car just as the train was starting, and was badly bruised about the face and eyes. Rev. S. R. Shreeve will be absent this week attending comference at Benton Harber Mich. Fred Graves is now a citizen of Wheatfield, he will occupy his Brother John’s stand. “The butcher shop.” Silas Stump has sold his Whatfield property to J. H. Tilton and will move to Brookston Indiana. Miss Lucy Taylor and partner are prepared to do all kinds of dressmaking, and plain sewing. Miss Bertha Graves will start for Chicago this week where she has formerly been doing business.
