The County Commissioners.

Saloon licenses were granted to Geo. Strickfaden of Rensselaer, and J. F. Ellis, of Remington. The official bond of Auditor-elect Murray was approved. It is in the A road 1 mile long was established on the county line, between Newton and Jasper county, northeast of M. B. Halstead’s place, in Newton tp. Viewers were appointed for the Simon Kenton ditch, in Newton tp; and the John Finn ditch, in Kankatee tp. The Ga’ey ditch, in Jordan tp was established. The Drake ditch, in Hanging Grove, was dismissed, on motion of the petitioners. - • .
