r-. The Fourth Quarterly meeting of Rensselaer Circuit M. E. church will be held June 20th and 21st at Pleasant Grove church. AH, especially Official members, are requested to be present. Special services will begin Thursday evening, June 18th at 7:30 P. M., Rev. J. T. Stafford delivering the opening discourse subject “Divine Magnet.” Friday 2:30 P. M., discourse Rev. J. M. Harmon, subject,-Answer to Prayers.” 7:30 P. M., lecture Rev. T. F. Drake, subject, “Epworth League. Saturday 2.30 P. M., quarterly conference. 7:30 P. M., discourse Rev. Chas Jesse, subject “False Refuges.” Sunday 9:30 A. M., love feast 10:30 A. M. discourse, John L. Smith D, D., followed by sacramental services consisting of the Lord’s supper and baptism. At Elkhart he had six men arrested for spearing fish. They entered a plea of guilty, and were fined $25 and costs each. One of them was a road supervisor, whose duty it is to prosecute violators of the fish law.
