TOWN BOARD NOTES.

Regular Town Board meeting, Monday night. } Members of the Fire Company req nested the Board to authorize payments made for the use of teams to haul the engine and ladder truck, in cases or fires. Referred to Fire Committee. • The Clerk was directed to draft an ordinance prohibiting horses from being allowed to stand, for more than 30 minutes at a time, on Washington street, between Front and Cullen. Sidewalks were condemned adjoining the residences of Berry Paris, Geo. Havens and I. C. Kelley. J. H. Willey was re-elected a member of the school board, by three votes for him to two for Dr. M. B. Alter.-

Stfeet Committee ordered to see surveyor and have street lines established in front of the Hemphill property, on Ftont Street, and the Rhoades and Dwiggins property on Willow street Thirty-nine claims were allowed, including $126.50 to members of the fire company, and $224.75 for crashed rock on streets. The bottom of the town treasury is now reached, and the Finance Committee was instructed to try to negotiate with the treasurer for the loan of SI,OOO from the sinking fund, to tide over to next tax time.
