W. C.T. U. Convention and School of Methods.
A Convention and School of Meth- 1 ods for the W. C, T. Unions of Jasper, Newton, White and Pulaski counties, will be held in the M. E. church, at Rensselaer, May 21st and 22nd, 1891, beginning on the 21st at 10 A. M. The object in the quickening of the temperance sentiment and its crystallization into organized effort in the several counties, and the training of members in the best methods of W. C. T. U. work. Mrs. Mary E. Haggart, State President, Miss Mary G. Hay, State Treasurer, and Miss Alice R. Palmer, State Organizer and Lecturer, will be present, to conduct the exercist s and give instruction on the topics to be presented, in which they will be ably assisted by leading county workers. The day meeting will be devoted mainly to the School of Methods work. Miss Palmer will lecture on the first evening. Mrs. Haggart, President of the Indiana W. C. T. U. on the last. AU the meetings wUI be of great interest and the public generally is invited to attend day as weU as evening meetings. AU W. C. T. Unions are expected to be weU represented by their members, who will be entertained by the hospitable citizens of Rensselaer.
