OBITUARY.
Daniel C. and Mary L. Prev6. March 27,1889. Rev. F, D r Moore joined iwjnairiage Daniel C. Prevo and Mary L. Osborne. The cduple bid fair to live a long and happy life but death frustrated all their plans, The following winter while he was teaching the Independence School in Gillam Township he took the Lagrippe; from April 1890 he gradually declined in health and died, in great peace, at his father’s Dec., 14, following. His promise of a useful life was ended at the age of 24 years. The health of Mrs. Prevo, his widow, began to fail last summer. She continued to decline and April 24, at the home her parents, she passed to her home above, at the age of 23 years. Both died of consumption. Both joined theM. E. Church at Independence under the ministry of the writer, she united in Dec., 1884 and he in Jan. 1886. They left a little boy a year old. Sister Prevo was early in life inclined to be religous and was of a very patient disposition during her sickness. She expressed a spirit of Christian resignation, trusted in God and was sustained by his grace to the end. Call not back the"dear departed, Anchored safe where storms are o’er On the border land we left them, Soon to meet and part no more. When we leave this world of changes When we leave this world of care, We shall find our missing loved ones In our Father’s mansion fair.
