The Boivrd therefore dismissed the petition and p»tthe costs Of the review on the petitioners. The report was favorable and also flowery on road in Keener tp., petitioned for by J. R. Hamaciier, et al, and the road ordered opened. j The sum of was appropriated to aid th»? town of Remington to build a $750 Hone arched bridge I over the Big Ditch, at the intersection of Ohio and Michigan streets. 1 In the case of the Range Line gray- 1 el road. t. E. Mills, C. G. Austin, Chris. IXensler, Bazil Hunt, Samuel Babb and Tabilha C. Hunt, asked for a reduction of their assessments. Several other parties also asked to have their names taken from the petition. The members of the Toum Item'd of Remington also eaine be-* fore the Court to ascertain if there was any legal method by which the Town could assist in the building, of the road in addition to the assessments on the property within the town. This gravel road matter prolonged the session of the Board until Tue.-ritiy of this* 1 week, and the whole matter was then continued until the Jib* term.
