n iok y ;-h,\ j Whereas, John Guss, Austin X.; Lakin and others filed in the Audi- : tor's office of Jasper county, Indiana, i a petition to the Board of Coinmis- | sioners of the county of Jasper and State of Indiana, praying said Board to cause to be constructed a ditch or drain in Union, Keener and Walkej: townships, in said county and state, as hereinafter described; and whereas on the 3rd day of June, 1890, said Board appointed Henry Grow, Simon Kenton and Abram Warne as viewers and whereas said viewers have made their report as required by law and filed the same with the Auditor on the first day of November, 1890. Therefore notice is hereby given of the pendency and prayer of said petition and that the same is set for hearing on the sth day of December, 1890, the same being the sth day of the regular December Term, 1890 of said court. Said proposed ditch is described as follows:

Beginning at the center of the north line of the northwest quarter of section two (2) township thirty " (30) north, range seven (7) west, in Jasper county, Indiana; and running thence south degrees east 2133 feet; thence south 21 degrees west 1537 feel to the Lakin Diteh No. 30, and thence following the Lakin Ditch its entire length as follows: South 4l£ degrees west 1410 feet, Thence south 1085 feet, Thence south 33 degrees west 547 ft. Thence south 14£ degrees west 878 ft. Thence south 50 degrees west 1710 ft. Thence south 25 degrees east 960 ft. Thence south 61 degrees east 1546 ft. Thence south 3G£ degrees east 924 ft, Thence south 65 degrees east 54 feet, Thence north 88 degrees east 220 ft. Thence south 75 degrees east 116 ft. Thence south 62£ degrees east 580 ft. Thence south 47 degrees east 300 ft. Thence south easterly 2300 feet, Thence southeast with the ditch No. 30, as located to its outlet in the Iroquois river. THE LATERAL DITCH is described as follows: Beginning 1000 feet west of the quarter section corner on the east side of section twenty-five (25) township thirty-one (31) north, range seven (7) west in Jasper county, Indiana, running Thence south 22f deg. west 3200 ft., Thence south 56 degrees west 2100 ft. Thence south 8100 feet, Thence south 45| deg. west 1900 ft., Thence south 35 degrees west 1500 ft. Thence south 21 £ deg. west 922 feet, Thence southeasterly 1745 feet, Thence south 2230 feet, Thence southwest 1425 feet to the main ditch at Stake No. 172.
