MARRIED.

Rev. G. W. Payne, a Methodist Protestant minister, of Rensselaer, Jasper county, and Miss Adelia Murphy, of Frankfort, Clinton county, Ind., were united in marriage at the bride’s residence, Tuesday, Oct. 28th, at 11 o’clock A. M.; Rev. W. H. Fisher, officiating. There were abont 20 guests that witnessed the ceremony. After congratulations the bride and groom, and a number of the guests repaired to the Coulter House in Frankfort, where they partook of a sumptuous repast; that was prepared for the occasion. After the meal had been served; they took the vestibule train on the Monon Route for Rensselaer where they will spend a few days, and then return to Frankfort to make that their permanent home. Mr. Payne is well known io the people of Jasper county, as one of her staunch citizens, and a Christian gentleman. His wife is one of Frankfort’s most polite and genteel ladies, that has made many friends while she has lived there. May harmony and sunshine attend them, and may their future be bright in their matrimonial embarkation, 'is the wish of their many friends; in Frankfort and Rensselaer.
