Manufactory at Last

Company to Employ One Hundred Hands, headed this Way. *• Meeting This Evening. A gentlemen representing a manufactory of baby cabs and Japanese s pecialties from Toledo, Ohio, wil be in town to-day, and op a proper en co pragement by our people, wil guarantee to place in our midst a factory that will employ one hundred hands, and will turn out $150,000- worth of manufactured products the first year here. The gentleman comes here highly recommended, and a meet ing will be held at The Court House this, Thursday, evening, to h ear what he has to say, and also what our people have to say, pn the project. Come out everybody. ’This manufactory desires a site near Chicago, and yet far enough ' away to avoid the taxes and strikes: incident to a great city. Experience has demonstrated the fact that the people must “get a move on themselves” to secure these things, and it is hoped we will do credit to ourselves in this matter.
