SNOW.
A special from Hallock, Minn., on the 12th, says: The rain which has been Jail ing since Wednesday night turned to snow this morning. Farmers are afraid ’the wheat will sprduE'in the shock. Kn inch of snow is reported at St. Vincent. Threshing is not over and much wheat will be lost in the Red River valley. Temperature ranging from 28 to 30 degrees prevails from Forth British America southward over Montana. Snow to the uepth cf from four to six inches fell at places in the Northwest territory, above Montana, and about one-half inch fell over north Montana.
