Section 1. Be it ordnined by tlie Board of Trustees of the Town of Rensselaer, Ind Taint, in legal seSsionrMnrty a .-ewer be con . strueted oil the following route, to. wit: com mencing near the southerly line of. Angelica Street in said toWh aT A stTltilblb dTStlines ' from said line and at a point directly opposite to the northerly corner of lot seven (7l in block eight 18) insaidtowiw and running thence in a westerly direction along the the southerly side of siiid ( street to the easterly side of Front street; thence acrossAngelica street to -appoint neai'.-the noriherly -side thereof; thence in a westerly direction along the-northerly side of said street and continued in the same line to the Iroquois river, where said drain will terminate Section 2. The sewer provided for in section 1 of this ordinance shall be constructed of tile ten (10) inches in diameter, laid on boards at a depth of not less than five (5) r f(?et.iit named and to be coiistrHeTed under tlie provisions of an act of the Indiana Legislature of March Bth, 1889 as set for th in the acts <>f said -ses - sions on pages 237 to 24'1 inclusive. (See section 2 thereof.) Section 3. James F. Irwin, Marion L. Spitler and George H. Brown, freeholders and voters of said town and not in any way interested in said sewer, are hereby appointed appraisers whose duty it shall be to examine all the lots and parts of lots in said town or other pieces or parcels of land that will in any manner be benefitted by the construct ion of said sewer and to assess the amount of benefits to each lot or wart of lot or other piece or parcel of land that will result Jthereto'by the construction of said sewer, to make out a schedule of said lots and other pieces or parcels of land with their assessments thereto. To append to said schedule and assessments their affidavits that their said assessments are in all respects true and impartial assessments of the benefits resulting to each lot, part of a lot and other piece or parcel of land in any way benefitted by the said proposed sewer, and to file said schedule and assessment with the Clerk (>f the Board of Trustees of said town who shall record the same in the records of said 'town. Should any person appointed as appraiser fail to act, or should a vacancy in any manner occur in the appraisers now or hereafter appointed their pieces may be filled by the,board of trustees at any regular or special meeting of said Board.
Section 4. James C . T hrawles is hereby appointed engineer to lay out and make plans and specifications for the construe lion of said sewer and John R. Vanatta and Ed. H. Morlan are hereby appointed agents to purchase material ami superintend the construction of said work. •ection 5.
