On Tlmrsday the Board, accompanied by Auditor Robinson, went to Monticello, to hold a joint session with the White county Board, in the matter of the Culp and Denton Ditch. A number of parties filed remonstrances against the report of the viewers, and reviewers were appointed, For Jasper county they are J. Q. Lamborn, Levi Hawkins and Walter S. Russell. The voting place for the- south precinct of Marion tp., was located in the old Milroy residence, across the river. For the West precinct, in Mike Eger’s shop. The Range Line Gravel road matter was postponed until next term, for want of time. Auditor Robinson thinks the Board made at least twice as much record at this session as has ever been made at any two previous sessions. The two big ditch reports explain the circumstance.
