OBITUARY.
John 11. Robinson. Another of GillamV best and oldest citizen has gone from labor to reward. .’John il. Robinson, son of Paris and Sarah Robinson, was born in Alien Co, Ind., Sept 25th 1831, And died at bis home in Gil lam tp. Jasper Co. Ind., Aug. 3rd 1890. He was married to Mary E. Querry Sept. 3rd 1850. To them were born eight children, seven ; of whom still live. His wife dud hi bolv triumph a little less than,a year ago. Immediately after her death, Mr. Pvobicson went to live with his oldest daughter, Mrs. Sarah Cloud, in lowa. A few days after his arrival there Mrs. Cloud took sick and suddenly died. He then returned to the home place and lived with his son, Harvey, until his death. He wAs sick but a week, and almost before any one realized that his condition was serious he was crossing the dark river; In - early- -life he was soundly eouverted and joined the M. E. Church and has always striven to be a faithful member. .His life and example have been sack as to attest the truth of the Christian religion. In his death the community loses one its best citizens and the church one of its most faithful members. Before losingconsciousness he expressed to his children and pastor his bl ight hope and firm faith that he was dying in the Lord. The funeral services and interment were at the Independence Chapel, ilev. H, M. Camp-
