The Town Board.
Last Monday night the Town Board held its regular monthly ingWm Myers, the night watch, was paid the balance of his salary and notified to quit. The report of E. L. Clark, secretary of the Weston Cemetery, was received and ordered published in The Republican. On petitioa of various citizens the clerk was directed to draft an ordinance for a sewer along Angelica street, beginning at the rear of the Presbyterian church lot, and runing to the river. The clerk was ordered to advertise for letting the contract for the new sewer on the north side of Washington street. It was a field meeting for sidewalks: A new walk was ordered along the north side of Block 16, in Newton’s Addition, while the present walks were condemned and ordered replaced by new ones in the the following places: On west side of Van Rensselaer street from Mike Eger’s to School House, excepting E. L. Clark’s and John Eger’s; on Susan St. by J- C. Porter’s ;on Cullen street, by Jas. Randle’s, and from B. F. Ferguson’s to B. Paris’ corner; in front of W. A. Hufi’s residence; in front of A. Thompson’s residence; in front of Flo Sears’ property, on Riv-
er street, by W. R. Nowels’ place, Frank Osborne’s, Hiram Days, Robt. Adams. M. B. Alters and John Chamberlain’s (on River street) and various other places.
