OBITUARY.
Received too late for last week. Died. —At his home of paralysis, 4d Giilam township, Jasper county, Ind., May 27th, 1 890,MrUl)ennis Dunn, only son of James and Elizabeth Dunn. Mr. Dunn was born in Green county, Tenn, August 15th, 1820. He was married Nov. 26th, 1839, to Miss Rachel Campbell, of Starke county, Ohio, daughter of James Campbell, an early 7 pioneer of this township. Mr. Dunn and wife came to this county in 1840 and are among the oldest and most esteemed citizens, having experienced the many hardships of the pioneers. He was a faithful member of the M. E. church and lived a true Christian life. His sufferings were great, but, before be was deprived of his speech, he realized his condition, and in conversation with a friend, he left evidence feat all was well wife his soul. His last words were: “To tell his children and friends to prepare to meet him in that bright world beyond where sorrow and pain are never known.” He leaves a devoted wife, eight children, all of whom are married, except one, and numberless friends to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at Independence Chapel, conducted by Rev. Sebring. The bereaved family and relatives have fee sympathy of the entire community. Dear father, lliou haat left w.
