Pension Granted in Short Time.

Capt. Burnham is notified of tlio granting of a Widow’s and minor’s pension winch made quick time under his management. The declaration was filed in January 1890, the evidence accumulated and filed in March 1890, and on his application and certificate placed in the list of completed files for immediate consideration May Ist 1890, and the pension granted June 4th 1890. There was no eall for evidence issued in the case, Mr. Burnham does no t wait for calls but goes ahead and gathers the evidence he knows will be required to prove the case and fires it in. If any Washington attorney can beat his time he would like for the comrades to report him so he can doff his hat to the Washington attorney. Another feature of the Captain’s method is that he does not content himself with filing a claim and fee arrangements and then leave the the whole burden of getting up the evidence on the claimant, but corresponds with the claimant’s witnesses and takes the burden of preparing the claim upon himself without additional expense to the claimant. No soldier in Northern Indiana can do better than to put his** claim in ‘Capt. Burnham’s hands for management.
