Desered Success,
Since the great and exciting question of the adulteration of food has attracted such universal attention, Dr. Price and his compeers bent their energies to the compounding of the purest articles of Baking Powder and Flavoring Extracts. So great has been their success, that these articles have received the unqualified endorsement of the United States and Canadian Governments, as being the most perfectly made, and free from all injurious substances. The cream of tartar used in the manufacture of Dr. Price’s Cream Baking Powder, is the purest in the world, the crystals are from the product of the finest grapes, imported direct from the vineyards of France. The superiority of Dr, Price’s Delicious Flavoring Extracts is not to be wondered at, when it is known at what expense, and with what diligence they are obtained. Take, for instance, his Delicious Flavoring Extract of Vanilla: The finest vanilla beans come from Mexico. The production is limited, and they are held at a very high price, which induces the makers of flavoring extracts to employ a cheap and dangerous substitute; but the Mexican vanilla bean, and nothing else, is used in Dr. Price’s Vanilla Extract, and hence its popularity. His Delicious Flavoring Extract of Lemon is obtained from the lemons of Sicily, which yield the finest flavor in the world. With that genuine Philantrophy which seeks the greatest good to the greatest number. The Price Baking Powder Company have solicited tests and examinations by the most ominent chemists of the United States and Canada. These endorsements, especially of Dr. Price’s Cream Baking Powder, are supplemented by that of the National Board of Health, Washington, D. C., andthe Canadian Government. The most humane philanthropist, protesting against the too common adulteration of the food of the present, can only be silent, and believe in the face of facts presented, in regard to the absolute purity of the products of the Price Baking Powder Company.
