There is only one way to cure aeafnet . and that is by constitm * tional remedies Deafness is caused by an inflamed eondi ipn of the mucous lining of the eustachian tube. When this tube gets inflamed you have a rumbling sound of imperfect beaming, and when it is enir )y closed, deafness is tbs result, and unless the inflammation can ha taken out and this tube restored to its normal condition, hearing will be destroyed forever; nine cases out of ten are caused by catarrh, which is noth ne but an inflamed conditio* of the mucous surfaces.
