The Town Board.

Last Monday evening was regular meeting night for the Town Board. The report of the viewers in regard to the alley petitioned for through the center of Block 14 was received and adopted and the alley ordered opened. Block 14 is oil Washington street, south of the Makeever house. The alley will damage John Makeever’s property far beyond the amount of the damages allowed him, and we understand that lie will appeal from the action of the Board. : 'r It was ordered that $1,126.19 of the corporation fund be transferred to the sinking fund. The resignation of 11. W. Porter, as councilman from the third ward, was tendered and accepted.
