THE CZARINA INSANE.

The Imperial Household of Russia In a Sad Flight. Information obtained from private sources Is to tho effect that tho Czar still remains in a terribly nervous condition, while the Czarina is threatened with insanity . She is at present prostrated from a scries of fits of vomiting and violent weeping, and she fears she may find death either in her food or while walking or driving. No account of her wretched condition is allowed to find its way into the papers of St. Petersburg. It is stated that the German Emperor has written to the Czar strongly advising- him to make liberal concessions to the people. The Czar has abandoned the idea of visiting Denmark , this year, and will go, instead, to his Schpola estates in Poland. | A movement is on foot in literary circles [ to endeavor to obtain the release of Mad * ame Tchebrikova, who is m a Russian : prison for writing a threatening letter to j the Czar. With this end in view, the various literary clubs in London are preparing i a joint memorial to the Czar praying that the lady be set at liberty, ana an effort will be made to secure the co-operation 'of the Government in the matter, though the success of the latter movement is ioobtful.
