Victorious Bees.
A party of hunters near Centreville, Md., were pursuing a fox, when the hard-pressed creature took refuge in a hollow tree. Axes were procured and the tree felled, when the hunters were surprised to find that the fox had been stung to death by bee* while they werefelling the tree. * Pulling the fox ont, the bees attacked and routed tbe hunters, some of them being badly stung.
