CIRCUIT COURT NOTES.

Judge Ward arrived Monday afternoon, and proceeded to open | court. The grand jury was organized I with Jas. D. Babcock, as foreman. John Burger and Thos. A. Crockett, of the original panel, were excused on account of sickness and their places are filled by P. H. Lally, of Remington, and Wm. Powers, of Rensselaer. The time of the court, thus far, lias , been mainly occupied by the routine ! business of calling the docket and ? hearing arguments on motions. The pettit jury is not called until next Monday.
