Items few and far between. A small snow the 10th inst. A large barn is being erected on the Shirk’ farm. Miss Grpce Nichols closed a very successful term of ’school, at Randle school house, on the sth. S. W. English and B. F. Bobinson are opposing candidates for office of Supervisor in district No. 6, subject to the decision of the coming Republican convention. Born tojMr. and Mrs. S. W. English, on March Bth, a girl. Sam says he can’t hunt wolves now as he has to stay at home and rock the baby. Married at the residence of the bride’s parents, in Barkley tp., Mr. Jas. B. Marion and Miss Adda Payne. The ceremony 'took place on March 9th, Elias Marion, J. P. officiating. The young couple have the best wishes of many

friends.
