GREAT RELIGIOUS REVIVAL.
At the Rose Bad Chapel, Union Township, Daily and nightly services were conducted tor two weeks by Sister Mershon an Evangelist from Anderson, Ind. -The series of meetings closed sabbath evening Feb. 9, after a wonderful manifestation of God’s power npon the people. Saint and sinner were alike affected, coming eight to ten miles to catch the vivid description of the Gallilean Teacher. Sister Mershon works with untiring vigilance, placing full confidence in the Master whom she serves. Her audiences were wrought up to the highest pitch and cried with joy over the holy pictures of Christian life and future happiness which fiho so skillfully painted; in her story of the cross. There were eighty-two accessions to the church. Baptism was administered to eleven persons by immersion and to twenty-two by sprinkling. The liberality of the people was clearly shown by the contributions which amounted to seventy
dollars.
