There Is an alarming amount of sickness prevalent in the village at present. Among the more serious cases may be mentioned Mrs. J. E. Stiller, Mrs. Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. . Walter Gumm, Geo. Townsend, Mrs. Bartlett and others too numerous to men- ! tion. ; Mr. Levi Hawkins and family attended the funeral of Mr. Broadie at |at Williamsport, Ind., last Saturday. ! It takes four strong horses to draw a light load from a short distance. Mrs. Wrn. Tharp and Miss Lida left for Gilman, Hi., last Friday morning for a visit of a month or more. The old quarters of Justice Tharp are now occupied by G. B.i Chappell, J. P. The Payne building is almost ready for occupancy. Notwithstanding the fact that it is midwinter plasterers are busy and working with as much ease as though it were mkkummer. Mis. W. 11.
