NATIONAL CRUSADERS.
The non-partisan temperance women, in ' opposition to the W. C. T. U., met at Cleve land, Ohio, last week and Thursday completed au organization calling it the National Crusaders. A pledge similar to most of the W. C. T. D. vas adopted. The preamble of the constitution reads as fol lows: Viewing with the deepest solicitude the appalling evils of intemperance, aud ; believing that a non-partisan, non-sectarian of Christian women, devoted 'Solely to the cause of temperance is greatly needed, we unite ourselves together for .this purpose under the following constitu,tion. The following officers were elected; President, Mrs. Ella J. Phinncy of Ohio; vice president, Mrs. T. B. Walker of Minnesota; secretary, Mrs. Hugh Campbell of Ohio.
