Noaii Gordon, of Kansas City, is visiting relatives at this place. Mrs. Martha Bennett and Jane Austin are visiting in Illinois. S. J. Bentley and family have moved into Wm. Turner’s house. Bert Bullock has bid farewell to old Jasper and returned to his home in Michigan. Jesse Root, Lena Root and Amanda Austin were called to Wabash last week to attend court. Sylvester Austin, Geo. Stemble, Mrs. Geo, Stemble, Abbie Harris, Jas. Swisher and John Jensen are sick with what is supposed to be the Grippe. Edward Adams and his sister Mrs. John Meyers were called to Hebron on Saturday last to attend the, funeral of their father.
