AN AWFUL DEATH.

Peter Clausen, a lineman, met a horrible death in New York, Monday. He was working at the topofan electric light pole, 300 feet high, when by some means he fell across the wires. The wires were poorly insulated and the poor lineman was literally roasted to death. The palm of the [right hand was burned to the bone, and the forearm from the wrist to the elbow was a mass of charred flesh. Electricity, fortunately, had made him insensible in stantly. ■ "■ I Justus H. Bathbone, founder of the e» drT at Knight* of Pythias, died st Lima, o, Monday. j
