Another Railroad—on Paper.

; Time was, a few years back, when ! the announcement of the incorpora- , tion of another railroad to cross Jas- ! per county' was one of the commonest items of local news. Of late years 1 the new railroads, on paper, have not been so frequent, and the fact of the incorporation, ■in Indianapolis., last week, of a proposed road, which is projected to strike Jasper county, is an interesting event, from its very ; rarity. The title of the new compa:ny is “The Cincinnati, Bloomington & Chicago Railway Company.” As projected the line which the company proposes to build will begin in .Dearborn -county and extend 300 ! miles northwest through Ripley, Decatur, Bartholomew, Brown, Monroe, Owen, Clay. Parke, Fountain, Warren, Benton and Jas per counties. The capital stock is $9,000,000. The company is composed chiefly of Eastern capitalists.
