Nothing but very bad weathe r ban prevent the Fourth of July celebration in Rensselaer, to-day, being a splendid success. There in no other celebration of any note any place near, and Rensselaer has a clean sweep." The various committees have prepared to carry out, in good faith, every promise, made in the bills. He will be a regular razorback, and of the breed that, down South, are guaranteed to out-run a nigger. He will be properly barbered, and ehampooed with grease and turned loose in Landlord Hyland’s cow pen, just east of the public square. The chap that catches him will do it because it is a ground hog, as well as a greased hog case and he is out of meat. ~; 7 ' ■
