NOTICE TO TEACHERS.

The Summer Normal of Jasper County v> ill convene July 15,1889, in the Rensselaer high school building, and will continue five weeks, followed by the regular teachers’ institute. Prof. George W. Thompson, of the State Normal School, and Prof. F. W. Reubelt, superintendent of the Rensselaer Schools, will have charge., of the work—They .will, he assisted by I. C. Reubelt, teacher of the. Grammar department in the Rensselaer schools, and the County Superintendent. The aim of this school will be to give instruction in the common school branches and the methods of teaching. It is expected that every teacher who intends to teach in our schools will be present if possible. Do you want a better salary? Then become a better teacher. The tuition will be 84.50 for the term or $1 pei week. Arrangements cun be made for club boarding at reduced rates. Boarding in private families from 82 to $3 per week.
