Graduates in Gillam Township.

The graduation exercises were held at Independence! Chapel, last Saturday evening. The attendance was very large, in spite of the bad weather. The graduates were five in number, their names and subjects being as follows: Emma Paris, ‘*A Common School Education.” Addie Mitchell, “Usefulness.’’ Moille Paris. “True Greatness.” Eva Hilton. “The Dignity of Labor.” Eva Hess, “Self Reliance.” Superintendent Warren was present and gave the opening address and Trustee Guild presented the diplomas. Sixty-four Rolls of Honor were distributed among the scholars of the township, and also eight golden stars. Gillum is still the banner educational township of the county.
