THE TOWN BOARD.
The Town Board, at the monthly meeting Monday night, appointed Simon Phillips, C, D. Nowels and J. ' H. S. Ellis, judges of the coming May election, and Thos. Thompson ‘ and John Jessen clerks for the same, Four badly needed new street crossings were ordered in Newton’s Addition. A new side walk was ordered along the easterly side of Weston street froip llntson street south through Ben jam in’s Addition, to the county | road. $ A proposition to change the time of the monthly meetings to the second Monday in each month, was laid over until next month, for consideration. A number of claims against the town were passed upon. We are making low prices on dried fruits, call and see our stock.
