Who will be our next i*ost master? is the great question asked by all, and no_one is able to answer. Two lietitipns have been circulated, both for ybqng ladies, either of whom would make a good post-mistress. day evening Feb. 7* All are invited to come and take part. The protracted meeting at Brushwood Chapel is largely attended. One or two converts so far. The exhibition given by the school of M. L. Pass at North Lawn was a grand success and largely attended. The teacher at the Independence school was called away by the sickness of a brother. Other wedding bells resounded through the ears last Sunday evening. Those of Mr. Edmond Walker and Miss Clara Nicbelson, both residents of Barkley. The wedding was a very quiet affair, and the happy couple will reside on the home place of the groom. »
