County Health Officer.

The county commissioners met in special session, Monday, and elected a secretary of the County Board of Health, for the ensuing year. The chqice fell on Dr. M. B. Alter, at a salary of $39.25. The other bids were, Dr. F. P. Bitters, S4B; Dr. V. E. loughridge, S7O.
