Kankakee Valley Drainage.

A meeting to devise ways and means for draining the wet lands along the Kankakee River, from Momence to South Bend, including the straightening of the river in Indiana and the removal,iof the ledge of rock at Momence, will be held in the Club Boom, at the Palmer House, Chicago, on Friday*Jan. 18, at 2 p. m. The names of the cammittee calling the meeting are B. F. Gray, A. B. Kyle and W. F. Singleton.
