In the matter of the opening of Jefferson street, in Newton’s addition, it was ordered that it be opened to the railroad, immediately, and in May be opened to its connection with Merritt street; which is the street* which runs east and west, along the north side of John Coen’s residence. The Street Committee were ordered to purchase two good pumps, one for tiie fire cistern in the real of A. Leopold’s coiner building, and. the other for the cistern in th<‘ rear of J. M.
