REMINGTON ITEMS.

The marriage of Mias Ella Cross and Mr. Samuel Buchan took place at the home of the bride’s parents ih Wessington, Dakota, last Thursday. Both parties were formerly of this place. Mr. Forbes and family, of Chi- , cage, have moved into toe spacious iaad pleasant house lately vacated by William Rich. Mrs. J. T. Ford is still qnite sick. The Remington public schools will give an entertainment in the near future for the benefit of the school library. These entertainment are always good, and worthy I of liberal patronage. ; The ‘Thanksgiving dinner and ! supper netted fifty dollars and I some cents, for the benefit of the . church;. The young ladies eonj neeted with the same denomina- ' tion will give a Fair and I’esHvnl iin the Exchange Hall on Tuesday evening, Dec. 18. Articles suita:.ble for Christmas gifts will be on red for sale on very reasonable terms, and as the object for which the young ladies are working is a worthy one, it is hoped that they will be well patronis'd.
