To my old friends and customers in Rensselaer: A year ago I sold my stock of watches, clocks, jewelry; silver ware, canes, spectacles, tableware, fancy goods etc., to Messrs. Tuttle <fe Sheehan. I now fiud myself again in possession, with an immense stock of goods, consisting of a part of the old, and large purchases of new goods. 1 am selling eyery dollars’ worth ,of goods without profit, and many articles at a loss, intending to pail out of the busiuess entirely. To those who have traded with me for the past thirty years, I need not say more than that the goods are exactly as represented, and the sale made in good faith, at the cost of the goods to me. All solid silver table spoons and forks are sold at $1.25 per ounce and are the same make of goods you bought of me years ago. I have a large lot of 12 ounce (tripple plate) Persian table spoons and forks, Which list at 514.50 per dozen, less 50 off, which makes them’ net to you 57.25 for one dozen, or S3.Go per set.
