Thanksgiving Services.

: Arrangements have been made for services on Thanksgiving Day. A special choir will be formed from tfu several church choirs in town; and the fyllowing persons are ‘appoint ed to arrange for the formation and the training of tjhe choir: Nora Hopkins, Mrs, S. P. Thompson, Rtev. B. F. Ferguson, Dr. I. B. Washburp, J. H. VVilley, Mrs. C. B. Steward. A collection for the poor will be taken and placed in the hands of a committee consisting of the following citizens. Ad. Parkison, Alfred frhompson, Hon. E. P. Hammond. I The morning exercise will be hold, at 10:80 a. m. at the Missionary Baptist church, in the following order: Anthem, choir. Invocation, » Hymn, “America.” Congregation. Scripture lesson. Rev. E. Q. Pelley. Prayer, Rev. M. L. Tressler. Anthem, choir. Benediction. , In the evening services will be held in the M. E. church at 7 o’clock p, m., led by Rev. E. G. Pelley. ‘ ‘Gospel Hymns” will be used exclusively in this service. All persons having copies will please bring them. , Let all the people assemble a,t thegp services to praise God togethe r for hi 3 mercies.
