Building a Politician.

A farmer had a son who showed no special aptitude for business, and he was puzzled what to do with him. He concluded to try an experiment,so he locked the boy in a room in which there were only a Bible, an apple, and a dollar. A few minutes later he stole quietly to the foom. He had made up his mind that if he found the boy eating the apple he would make a good farmer. H he- were reading the Bible he should be trained for the pulpit, and if he had taken the money his success as a broker,the father thought, was assured.
