A Great Republican Scoop in Jasper County. DEMOCRATIC BOODti HAS DISRUPTED THEIR PARTY. Republican Majority Increased by 260 Votes. A LANDSLIDE IN BARKLEY TOWNSHIP. And Even Milroy Township is al last Redeemed. The Republicans of Jasper county have scored another glorious victory. A majority of 603 votes as rolled up for Harrison, almost exactly the same for the state ticket, while all the county candidates are elected by majorities of upwards of 550, and most of them run right close up with the national ticket. Owen for Congress, leads the national ticket by from 15 to 25 votes. Complete figures can not be given until after the official canvass, which will be made at Rensselaer to-day. The votes and pluralities, so far as reported, are as follows, the gains and losses being as compared with 1884. . Hanging Grove, .Republican 71 Democratic 38, majority 33. A gain of one. Gillam. Republican 109, Democratic 40, maj. 69. a gain of 6. The Prohibition vote is 16, a falling off from 1886 of six votes. Walker, 16 Republican majority ; a gain of 15. Barkley 79 Republican majority; a gain of 57 over 1884 "and of 55 over 1886. Marion, North precinct, Rep. 233; Dem. 128; majority 105, a gain of 22. The Prohib. vote | was 11, the same as in ’B6. i Marion, South precinct, Rep. i 138; Dem. 74; majority 64, gain 34.
