Another Old Settier Dead.
Jackson Phegley, whose residence is in Marion township, about two miles south-west of Rensselaer, died last Sunday evening, of congestion of the lungs, after an illness of only ninejdays duration. His age was a little; more than 65 years. The funeral was held at the residence, Tuesday, and conducted by Rev. B. F. Ferguson. The interment was in grave yard. The deceased was one of our oldest settlers having passed nearly the whole of his adult life in this county. His kindness of heart and strict rectitude of character, gave him the esteem and respect of all who knew him.
