REMINGTON ITEMS.
Mr. and Mrs. John Randall have gone to housekeeping in the primises just north of Geo. Griffin’s new residence. Mrs. Goodman of ChicagoHs the guest of Mrs. A. M. Sterns and other friends in this place. Mrs. Goodman will be remembered as Miss Kate Moshelle. Mr. Frank Rich’s family now consists of himself, wife and son. The young man’s given name is Lowell Glenwood, and he arrived last Friday. The remains of Mr. Geo.. Gibbs of Kansas was brought here for burial last Monday night. The interment took place on Tuesday. The deceased was a brother to Chas. Gibbs, formerly of this place and to Mrs, Jas. Zea. Many friends in this place sympathize with Mrs. liwin in the recent injury and affliction that has come upon her. The speech of JJon.U. Z. Wiley, at the formal opening of Republican headquarters, in this place, was one of the most convincing arguments of the campaign. The house was crowded until the speech was ended, at 10:30 last Saturday night. . Msss Libbje Kenyon left us last week to seek her fortune,in the great city of Chicago. She is at present abiding with Mr. and Mrs, J. E. Stiller in Englewood. Mrs’ Lizzie Eckels Gibson formerly of this place is dangerously sick at her home in Peru, No hones are eutertaided for her recovery. : ' "'h. ,
