The new switch at Devcors cut 2\ mile? west of Wheatfield will soon be in progress. After the switch is laid Geo. Stout will build a hay barn, L. Ford of Lafayette will put up a store and Leon Sbaffner of Center contemplates putting up a first class hotel. Mr. Jacob Heil of Rose Lawhag taken-up his abode m Wheatfield. lie and his brother, Martin are running a first class rumshop, in the building vacated by Dr. Ellis. The new bell of the Catholic chumh wiU fee-dedicated Sunday morning at nine o’clock. A dance in Stembel’s hall next Saturday evening. A good time is expected. The little daughter of. Mr. and Mrs. Graves, whose sickness we mentioned last week, was laid to rest in the Wheatfield cemetery last Sunday. She had been sick with a throat trouble for some time. The friends and neighbors of Mr. and Mrs. Graves sympathize with them in their sad bereavement. Sweet.
