Chaplain Lozier in Gillam.

Chaplain J. H. Lozier, the celebrated temperance , preacher of Ibwa, addressed two splendid meetings in Giilamtownship, Shtufday. At the Masoh school house iff the afternoon and at East Verndh in the evening. The afternoon meeting was very large, but that in the evening was, for a school h#Use meeting, simply tremendous. The Chaplain is one of the most effective Republican orators in the state and we very much regret that he could not give but one day to Jasper county. Considering the vefy great demand there is for him, nbt only in Indiana but in many | other states, it was a piece of good fortune getting him here, at all.
