FROM WHEATFIELD.
Wheatfield is booming. AVenow have three churches, two hotels, two saloons, four grocery and dry goods stores and one drug store. There was a good turnout at the rally. Hoh. AY. D. The Lutheran church is now nearly completed and will be ready for use in a few days. h The schools of the township opened Oct. 8, with teachers as Center, Rosa Grube at Heil, Geo. Myers at Wheatfield. Mrs. Lou. Neville, of Lafayette, Ind., is visiting at her home, Mr. \Ym. Grube’B. Grube started last Tuesday for North Platte, Neb., in company with Mrs. Nelson and son, of Porter county. He intends staying through the winter. Sat<%& Tilton reo.
