Who Paid for the Rally.

Juasmuch as the Republican business men of Rensselaer have subscribed largely to the fund for thq approaching Yoorhees rally, it will ;not be amiss to correct a wrong impression which extensively prevails regarding the sources from which the money for the Repstos&jajly of Sept. 28th was ■tfSnvea: The cdittmftteedn financesolicited subscriptions from a number of Democratic business men but the favorable responses were so few- in number and small in amount that the committee decided not to accept any Democratic subscriptions at all, and all sums paid by Democrats were returned to the donors. The Republicans paid the cost of their own rally, every cent, and < the Democrats ought tp have been politely requested to follow suit.
